4th for academic excellence according to L’Étudiant
The L’Étudiant 2023 ranking puts the school in 4th place on the criteria of academic excellence. Among the indicators taken into account to establish this ranking, we find the average baccalaureate score of the integrated students, the share of professors-researchers and the number of doctoral students.

With a ranking of 181st out of nearly 20,000 institutions evaluated worldwide, ISAE-SUPAERO is one of the world’s leading schools in terms of employability.
5th French engineering school according to U-Multirank
The U-Multirank international ranking list analyzes the world’s higher education institutions according to 39 criteria divided into five areas. Institutions are evaluated on teaching and learning, research, internationalism, regional commitment, and knowledge transfer. In this last area, research institutions are evaluated on their ability to create patents and innovation.
The Institute is the 5th French engineering school in the ranking of institutions with the most "A" grades.

The Institute is ranked 2nd by Les Echos Start | Change Now which considers, alongside the traditional criteria of excellence, the consideration of environmental and social issues by schools. With numerous actions and initiatives in the area of sustainable development, the Institute places environmental issues at the heart of its commitment.

Furthermore, ISAE-SUPAERO is also the 5th most popular school for students in preparatory classes - which means we are the 5th school most chosen by students - according to the Génération Prépa 2022 ranking. The Génération Prépa website is managed by students from the french grandes écoles and is aimed at students in preparatory classes. Its ranking is based on data made available by the Service du Concours Ecoles d’Ingénieurs (SCEI), using 5 indicators: the competition in which the school is ranked ; its average rank ; the number of registrants ; the number of places ; the number of students who entered the school.
Finally, with a 4-star rating, the Institute is among the best post-prep engineering schools in the Challenges ranking. The number of stars is awarded according to several criteria, including the level of graduates’ salaries and the proportion of foreign students in the graduating classes, a testament to the school’s international attractiveness. The school’s presence in the Shanghai Ranking and the alumni network on LinkedIn are also taken into account.
