The cryogenic theme
Research
Cryogenic activities involve several lines of research:
- Study of photodetection mechanisms for image sensors used at very low temperatures (as low as 80K) in wavelength ranges in the visible (VIS) and infrared (IR) spectra.
- Study of innovative readout chains used to extract information for cooled imagers (ROICs)
- Extraction of physical models (physical simulations for semiconductors, TCAD) and electrical models (electrical simulations) for elementary systems in microelectronics (MOSFET transistors, diodes, etc.).
- Development and optimization of means and methods for measuring at cryogenic temperatures (ranging from 10K to 300K).
