In the frame of international cooperation, we host and train your target audiences: international students, young professors and professionals (engineers, experts, civil servants, officers, etc). We design tailor-made courses that can be delivered in France and abroad. Finally, we offer our expertise in creating higher education programmes in aeronautical and space engineering throughout the world.

Three types of action
International partnerships of excellence
The establishment of international partnerships of excellence relying on ISAE-SUPAERO’s existing programs (Master, Advanced Master, Post-Graduate Diploma, Certificates, Doctoral programmes, short courses) to welcome foreign students and professionals, with the possibility of setting up double degree programmes with universities in partner countries.

A few achievements
Training of engineers, young professors, professionals and officers from a large number of countries via ISAE-SUPAERO’s existing training offer, in collaboration with an industrial or institutional partner, including the following geographical areas: Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America, etc.
Capacity Building : short programmes
Design and delivery of customised training courses for your customers and partners on specific subjects in the field of aeronautical and space engineering, with the possibility of setting up certified programmes.

Our recent achievements
Implementation of a training course in cooperation with an industrial company with a delivery of the ISAE-SUPAERO Certificate of Advanced Studies: Saudi Arabia, Peru.

Twenty engineers from the Peruvian space agency CONIDA (Comisión Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo Aeroespacial) attended a training course in Toulouse, designed jointly by ISAE-SUPAERO and Airbus Defence and Space!
The aim? To develop their skills in space systems and space missions. The entire program was placed under the academic responsibility of AnnaFederica Urbano, a teacher-researcher in space systems and launchers at ISAE-SUPAERO.
The engineers took part in a preliminary satellite design project. At the end of these five weeks, they all obtained the Certificate of Advanced Studies awarded by ISAE-SUPAERO.
For ISAE-SUPAERO and Airbus Defense and Space, this experience opens up prospects for future collaborations in training of this type for international industrial and institutional customers and partners.

Development of higher education programmes internationally
The creation, in the country concerned, of higher education programmes in aeronautical or space engineering in collaboration between ISAE-SUPAERO, the industrial partner and a local educational partner in order to support the development of an aerospace ecosystem: a specialisation course at Bachelor’s or Master’s level, or a Master’s programme. This activity can include curriculum design, teacher training, specification of research equipment, pedagogical expertise and course delivery.

A few achievements
- China:
creation by ISAE-SUPAERO and ENAC of Advanced Master® programmes (1 year) duplicated from existing programmes in both organisations, in collaboration with industrial partners. In 10 years of operation, more than 500 engineers of the Chinese civil aviation sector have been trained in aeronautical maintenance, flight operations and continued airworthiness;
creation in Tianjin of the Sino-European Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (SIAE), an aeronautical engineering school, in partnership with the CAUC (Civil Aviation University in China), ENAC and ISAE-ENSMA;
- Malaysia : creation of a Master’s programme in aeronautical engineering in cooperation with an industrial partner and a Malaysian university, including teachers training and setting up of a programme enabling Malaysian students to obtain a double degree with ISAE-SUPAERO;
- Australia : expertise provided by ISAE-SUPAERO in design (curriculum, course content) of a Master’s programme in satellite design engineering, in cooperation with an industrial partner;
- Brazil: implementation of a project to support the establishment of courses in space engineering in a local university in cooperation with an industrial partner.
