ENSICA historical background

Alumni

  • Philippe Chabalian
    Philippe Chabalian graduated from the 1978 year and is now a Sales Management Controller in tourist vehicles and commercial vehicles with the MICHELIN EUROPE Company.

  • Christophe Robin
    Christophe ROBIN graduated from the 1991 year and exemplifies passion for aeronautics. He took advantage of the Final Project Thesis at ENSICA to devise a project for an aircraft in the field of light aviation. After his training as an engineer, he created the “DYNAERO” Company and marketed a first single-seater for competitions sold in kit form, the CR 100. CR 100 has won an aerobatics competition and the company has signed several other contracts, thus going on in three years to employ 15 people. DYNAERO is currently working on a project for a two-seater aircraft made largely of CFRP.

  • Stephan Durand
    Stephan Durand graduated in 1997 and is now an Airworthiness Engineer with the TURBOMECA Company.

  • Jean-Claude Laprie
    Jean-Claude Laprie graduated from the 1968 year at ENSICA and is now Director for Research at CNRS and Director of LAAS-CNRS. He is the author of a number of communications in his speciality and is responsible for more than 20 national and European research contracts, mostly in cooperation with industrialists. He was invited to the University of California in Los Angeles and in 1992 was awarded the IFIP Silver Core and the CNRS silver medal.
