The main objective of convergence between SUPAERO and ENSICA is to make their educational programs more prominent and attractive while jointly ensuring promotion internationally.
ISAE’s membership of the “University of Toulouse” PRES (Research and Higher Education Cluster) also demonstrates a strong determination to work as a network. Moreover, the creation of the ISAE contributes directly to the world class “Aerospace Valley” competitiveness centre.
Developing an active and integrated research policy
The institution is ever keen to further its reputation for excellence and insists on its strong scientific background enriched by its research activities and scientific co-operation networks. This shared research-based culture strengthens differentiated and complementary scientific and teaching projects as part of a training package enhanced by the fact that it relies on principles of creativity and teaching innovation.
The distribution of activities aims to seek a good balance between academic pre-eminence and proximity with industrial needs. Among ISAE’s priorities is the determination to put the privileged and open partnership with ONERA on a long term footing and extend current partnerships with research centres and international higher education institutions.

With a broad range of Programs and a level of excellence recognised across Europe, the ISAE has a high international profile based on co-operation schemes between the two founder schools.
Pooling the two schools’ many national and international networks, sharing experience and the development of European networks provide the basis for the future of training in Europe and the ISAE is fully involved in this process.
