Is your old telescope covered in dust? Stuck in front of a myriad of equations that unwind before your eyes, you think you’d be better off behind an eyepiece or stretched out on the grass contemplating the starry vault? You know nothing about astronomy but you’d like to stop looking so stupid when your little brother asks you What really is the Milky Way? In that case, the Astronomy Club is just for you!
Come and discover the joys of observation, hours spent behind a tube at minus ten Celsius, the winding roads to find the odd spot known only to astronomy amateurs to get the best view… Come along above all just to be knocked out by the beauty of it all when you put your eye to the eyepiece for the first time and really see what a galaxy or a nebula looks like!
To put it in a nutshell, rather than spending your evenings in front of a maths DM (‘cos it’s over with!!!), come along with us and spend some fantastic nights with the Astronomy Club!
Cheers!
Daniel
