The Graduate Program
During the
1st and 2nd years, program is based on:
- a major common core bringing together
all the fundamental acquisitions in the basic sciences and engineering and
management sciences required by the future manager of complex projects
with a strong scientific and technological content;
-
projects that come under two main headings:
- Labwork
during which experimental dexterity, the capacity for measurement analysis
and the capacity to summarise the results obtained both orally and in
writing are stressed,
- the Short Research Project that
are run over several weeks and involve a high level of autonomy of the
student with comprehensive training in a project approach;
- scientific
diversification through two Minors to be chosen from among five options in the first year and ten in the
second year.
3rd year:
The third year combines a transverse
(or crossdisciplinary) Major and a scientific Major.
The student builds a
training course to be consistent with a professional project. This architecture allows a large number of activities to be
offered. Five transversal Majors and eleven scientific Majors are thus
dispensed.
Studies are rounded off by a professional internship lasting
at least three months and at most six months for the Final Project
(Master's Thesis). This is generally conducted in an industrial environment.
