Labworks

Scheduled 20-hour activities (2 in the first year and 1 in the second year) are run in all the Institute’s laboratories (Aerodynamics-Propulsion, Electronics-Optronics-Physics, Information Technology and Automated Systems and Structures-Materials Laboratories, and the Aeronautics and Space Centre) with the support of some ONERA departments (Toulouse Centre).

These projects are characterised by more structured supervision and compulsory training in experimental methodology. A wide variety of subjects is offered to students and the subjects prepared by the faculty staff often change from one year to another.

However, time limits and the need to go through the Institute’s high-performance laboratory installations can limit the students’ autonomy in running their Short Research Projects though giving this activity more synthetic and innovative content than that achieved through conventional Practical Work.
