Besides the optional sports activities that are on offer to students, sport also forms part of the Graduate Program in its own right.
Regular practise of a sport should in particular allow for:
- psycho-pedagogical development: the objective is to foster a healthy lifestyle, to develop or maintain physical as well as mental capabilities and have enhanced bodily control,
- development of one’s personality: observational faculties, ability to adapt, communication, tolerance, so many qualities that sport contributes to developing in an individual.
During the first two years, these activities are organised in semi-annual cycles, each cycle allowing for the practise of a sport chosen from among the following: athletics, badminton, climbing, judo, surfing, horse-riding, weight training, soccer, canoeing and kayaking, swimming, rowing, tennis, handball, volleyball, basketball, rock'n'roll dance, table tennis, etc.
These can of course also be pursued outside the course.
In the third year, students file a project immediately on going up setting out their objectives quantitatively (number of hours of practise, frequency, program, competition) and qualitatively (level to be attained, expected results, organisation).
