GEA

The Groupement des Grandes Écoles Aéronautiques et Spatiales de France (GEA) comprises the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (Toulouse), the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et Aérotechnique (Poitiers) and the ISAE.

It is an instrument for promotion internationally of all aeronautical and space issues in terms of higher training and research.

For example, the Aerospace Summer Program:

This was set up by the schools of the GEA. It is a short, intensive program taken over six weeks and is open to students studying for their degrees in American universities, mostly partners of GEA schools.

It includes scientific and technical courses, lectures and visits to works specialised in manufacturing, production or research in the fields of aeronautics and space.

Since 2003, around 35 students follow the program each year.
