Erasmus Mundus "European Masters Course in Aeronautics and Space Technology" (EUMAS)
Within the scope of the Erasmus Mundus program, the ISAE offers the European Masters Course in Aeronautics and Space
Technology, in partnership with the universities of Pisa, Munich, Cranfield and
Madrid. Every
year, a new intake of students starts the training program and is taken in by
turns in the two institutions belonging to the consortium.
Erasmus Mundus was
set up for five years and fosters co-operation and mobility of students and
teachers in the higher education sphere making Europe
a field of excellence in terms of training that is recognised world-wide. In
2005, the first year of the European Masters Course in Aeronautics and Space
Technology ended its first year of studies in Pisa, then switched over to SUPAERO in
September 2006 to complete its training. The universities of Munich
and Madrid took their turn for the second
intake and those of Pisa and Madrid for the third. The fourth year’s
intake will start at Cranfield in September 2008 to move on to the ISAE when the
academic year starts in 2009.
