The requirement for a stay abroad in
the Graduate Programs requires 1st year students to think about
the various choices they are offered so as not to have a restricted choice in
the last year.
The substitution year:
This possibility is offered for the 3rd year. Students make
their choice from among the 149 possible agreements with the 67 partner
institutions that dispense Graduate Programs.
Average duration for the stay is 6 months to 1 year.
Special feature: the Final Project
Thesis can be conducted in France
or outside it.
The double degree:
In the 3rd year, students can opt for a stay in a non-French
university to obtain a double degree. The Graduate Programs is thus
lengthened by a period of 6 months to one year. The stay may extend to two
years.
Students obtain the degree from the two colleges or universities where
they followed their program.
Obtaining a double degree allows you to:
profit
by your stay abroad with a professional outcome in mind in another host
country or with an transnational business entity (EADS for example),
guarantee
the level of international training to an employer.
More than thirty European
universities allow for this option.
Placement training:
More than a hundred students do their internship abroad each year.
There are many internships available to Graduate Programs,
specialized masters or Masters of Science students thanks to ISAE contacts with firms,
universities and research laboratories in Europe, America
and Asia.
The Institute co-operates with the various organisations responsible for
helping to find and run internship schemes in companies (IAESTE, France
Québec, Franco-American Chamber of Commerce, etc.) and takes part in
international programs offering internships abroad (VULCANUS programs
in Japan, FACE, LEONARDO, CDEFI internship programs in Italy, summer program
in Taiwan, etc.).
Close relations between the ISAE and major French and other firms allow the
number of internships to be increased regularly.
