International relations

An open mindset

In order best to prepare students for the international demands of their future profession, the ISAE places the need to open out internationally at the forefront of its priorities .

Since the 2005 academic year, the SUPAERO curriculum has imposed on engineering students an obligation to make a stay of at least 2 months abroad. There are also many ENSICA program students who make stays abroad.

Opening out internationally comprises three strands:

  • co-operation with the best European and North American universities, including student exchanges for academic study periods or training periods lasting from two to twenty-four months, exchanges of professors, and launching of training and research programs in partnership,
  • sustained relations with international firms that host ISAE students on internships and for Final Project Theses,
  • teaching leading to the issue of Masters of Science or Specialized Masters degrees accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles dispensed in English to allow for the intake of foreign students.

A contribution to excellence

International development contributes to the Programs dispensed at the ISAE being r ecognised and allows future graduates to better prepare for the demands of working internationally in their future profession.
In this perspective, teaching of at least 2 foreign languages has become an essential complement to SUPAERO and ENSICA scientific Programs.
